People who can't speak German at all or not good enough could practically not participate in last year's critical introduction days. To improve this situation was one of the items on our to-do list for the upcomming week of events.

Unfortunately, we could not realize most of our ideas going into this direction because we would have had to integrate them earlier in the planing process. So still all talks and (almost) all texts will be in German and we will not be able to provide translation for all events.

The only thing we are able to offer is organising whisper-translation (one person translating live for a small group of people) on request. To do so, please contact us via email and tell us the event you want to attend and the language you would need translation to and we will try to arrange something.

If you have concrete suggestions for facilitating the participation of non-german speakers, please let us know. Also concrete support offers regarding whisper-translations are more than welcome.

Für Menschen die kein oder wenig Deutsch sprechen boten die letzten kritischen Anführungstage praktisch keine Anknüpfungspunkte. Dies zu verbessern war eines der Dinge, die wir uns für dieses mal vorgenommen hatten.

Leider haben wir die meisten unserer konkreten Ideen dazu nicht umsetzen können, weil wir sie zu spät in der Planung berücksichtigt hatten. Somit sind die Vorträge und (fast) alle Ankündigungstext weiterhin alleine in Deutscher Sprache und eine flächendeckende Übersetzung wird es nicht geben.

Das einzige was wir anbieten können ist, auf Anfrage versuchen Flüsterübersetzungen zu organisieren. Schreibt uns dafür bitte so früh wie möglich eine Mail mit der gewünschten Veranstaltung und Sprache und wir werden versuchen eine Übersetzung zu organisieren.

Wenn ihr konkrete Vorschläge zur Verbesserung des Angebotes für Menschen die nicht (ausreichend) deutsch sprechen habt, bitte teilt uns dieses mit. Auch konkrete Angebote zur Unterstützung bei Flüsterübersetzungen sind herzlich willkommen.
